Overall Mechanics

$MJC (Mahjong Coin) is an SPL token on the Solana Blockchain. It is used within Mahjongland for different utilities.

Maximum Supply

• The maximum supply is 21,000,000 $MJC

• There will be 3 halving periods. Each halving will reduce $MJC staking rewards by 50%.

  • 1st halving: 10,500,000 $MJC mined

  • 2nd halving: 15,750,000 $MJC mined

  • 3rd halving: 18,375,000 $MJC mined

Mahjong Dog

• Every Mahjong Dog can normally mine 10 $MJC per day by staking in Mahjong School

• Once Mahjong Dog is staked, it cannot be taken back out within 48 hours.

• You can stake more than 1 Mahjong Dog at the same time. If Mahjong Dogs you staked meet the following combination of mahjong tiles, the $MJC rewards will be boosted after 8 days:

  • Pair: +10% of staking rewards

  • Triplet: +30% of staking rewards

  • Sequence: +20% of staking rewards

• If Mahjong Dogs you staked forms the following winning hands (formed by 14 mahjong tiles), the $MJC rewards will be boosted after 16 days:

  • Great Dragons: +80% of staking rewards

  • Great Winds: +130% of staking rewards

  • Thirteen Orphans: +130% of staking rewards

Flower Dog

• Flower Dogs cannot earn any $MJC alone.

• However, if any Flower Dog is staked together with Mahjong Dogs, the $MJC rewards will be boosted after 16 days:

  • A Flower Dog: +20% of staking rewards

  • Four Seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter): +60% of staking rewards

  • Four Gentlemen (Plum, Orchid, Chrysanthemum, and Bamboo): +60% of staking rewards

Burning Mahjong Dogs

Burning permanently removes the "burned" Mahjong Dog from circulation. This reduces the supply of Mahjong Dogs NFTs and increases the value of the remaining NFTs.

• All Mahjong Dogs can be burned by sending them to the cemetery and claim $MJC held in the MJDAO treasury.

• Only one Mahjong Dog can be burned per day within the entire collection.

• The burn is on a first come first serve basis. Once the Mahjong Dogs are put in the Burn Queue, they cannot be taken back out and will be in queue until it has been burnt.

• The formula used to calculate the $MJC amount to be claimed via burning a Mahjong Dog is:
